Born and raised in Indianapolis, Yasmin has a passion for serving the Indiana community. As the proud child of immigrant parents, she is passionate about closing the gap in equal and fair representation for non-English speaking individuals. Yasmin is fluent in both Spanish and English and utilizes her own life experiences to bring unique focus, empathy, and compassion to her practice, which is entirely devoted to family law-related matters.

Yasmin graduated from Indiana University with her Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and minor in Criminal Justice. Shortly after, Yasmin spent several years working in a civil law firm in preparation for her decision to attend law school. Yasmin attended Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in Indianapolis and graduated with her JD and Advocacy Skills graduate certificate.

During law school, she participated in the Honorable Robert H. Station Moot Court competition and was named to the Order of the Barristers. Additionally, Yasmin received the Mary H. Mitchell Outstanding Service Award for her pro bono contributions as a law student, and completed an externship with Kids’ Voice of Indiana and the Child Advocacy Legal Clinic through the law school. Through these experiences, Yasmin served as a Guardian ad Litem (GAL) and a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) on active family law and DCS matters. It was thanks in part to these opportunities that Yasmin developed her passion for trial work and family law, particularly as it relates to child-focused issues.

Following her admission to the Indiana Bar, Yasmin has been with Eskew Law ever since. She is also admitted to the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana’s United States District Courts. Yasmin continues to volunteer as a GAL through Kids’ Voice of Indiana, and is a member of the Indianapolis Bar Association and its Family Law and Young Lawyer’s Divisions.

When not at the office or in the courtroom, Yasmin loves all things music, and is usually either in an online queue to purchase concert tickets or curating new Spotify playlists. She is also passionate about traveling to the places on her bucket list, including each of America’s National Parks.
